    1. What is the Billable-Time-Feature?
    2. Where does DPDesktop store its settings?
    3. Which protocols does DPDesktop support?
    4. How do I get started?
    5. Does DPDesktop support an auto idle mode?
    1. What is the Billable-Time-Feature?
      DPDesktop offers an additional time field e.g. "billable time", which allows to track a second time (in addition to worked time). This is all you have to do: 1. Patch your database with a given patch file 2. (optional) Patch dotProject with a given patch file to support "billable time" in dotProject itself, too. (This answer will be extended soon)
    2. Where does DPDesktop store its settings?
      The settings are stored into
      {$user_directory}/DPDesktop/{$dpdesktop_version}

      The user directory is specified by the underlying OS. For Linux it could be likewise the following:
      /home/username/DPDesktop/version/

    3. Which protocols does DPDesktop support?
      Currently, DPDesktop supports http and https. But if you are a software developer it should be easy to provide support for any other protocol.
    4. How do I get started?
      Have a look at the sticky links on the left side!
    5. Does DPDesktop support an auto idle mode?
      Yes it does. Unfortunately this feature is not available on MAC.
